About Me I'm a total geek, and I love travelling. Oxyhydrogen rules and it is your friend! I'm currently really digging on being here at the family home, getting to watch the seasons change. "The Idea of the Holy" by Rudolph Otto, Colin Andrews. Dale Carnegie rocks in an older, gentler way, but he still rocks nonetheless. Once again enthralled with the "so bad it's good" novel 'Folk of the Air' by Peter S. Beagle. Why do I keep doing this to myself?

    Happy Halloween!

The Local Mabon Festival, fairy skirt

    Wednesday, September 17, 2008, 11:23 AM [General]

I finished the fairy skirt and tried it out at the local Mabon festival (they held it early; Mabon's not until the 22nd). I told folks I had molted, and that my winter wings hadn't come in yet...I made a complete nuisance of myself by blowing bubbles over the entire circled-up crowd...but as several people delightedly cried "Bubbles!", maybe I wasn't such a nuisance after all. I really had fun!

I had tried on the entire garb with corset & decided it was a little too racy; plus, I haven't decided how to attach the wings yet...

    Tuesday, September 9, 2008, 09:59 PM [General]

Booked my first show in ages, at the Pumpkin Festival in Plymouth, MA. I can only imagine! I'll post the details once I have them. Type of probable music: traditional British Isles/Irish, voice & guitar (and maybe banjo if I get brave).

    Yea and verily!

Gonna hit King Richard's Faire next weekend and have a splendid time being a very unorthodox fairy in hiking boots!

Finally! Pix soon; gotta find those stripey tights!
