heck yes! i got rid of all my wire coathangers... i don't know if you have a deseret industries or some other kind of thrift store near you but i've found metal coat hangers there for 25 cents per anywhere from 10-25, if not for under 25 cents.

i would go with what would be more comfy for you. some kind of brace would be cool, then you wouldn't have visible straps.

Sir Mikel, my most humble thanks for counsel; everything is in its season. I have luck indeed there are those who take the time and care to remind me when I am in need of reminding. The way of time is always forward.

During the day-time when I am about my work, clearing away the detritus of a long life; sorting, saving, consigning, conserving- I am looking for the happiest things, and those I safekeep.

Also, God does not give us a bigger burden than we can carry; this I know.

And so I allow time for now; indeed, just tonight came into mine mind a designing for the attaching of faerie wings...to temper things, keep idle hands and mind busy.

To allow the pleasures to surround me too; prithee thanks for your wish-safe voyage blessings. A most rogueish fairy I'll be! I have not been about the faires for some time, and look forward. In fortune, our harbor be only twenty minutes or so hence, back roads all; so pretty are the late summer woods of the Bay Colony.

May I offer to you the same wishes, and bid you travel well and safe, immune from the violations of excessive speed upon the roadways. God grant you safe passage and joyous meetings with friends along the way.

Yea, faires appear as do mushrooms in springtime acrossed the Shire. ‘Tis a grand season to be sure and with much merriment for those that attendeth thereat. I would bid thee fair weather and smooth sailing unto thy port, Lady.

Our Renaissance Farie doth commence in five days when the gates beopened and the pavilions beckoned unto all who seek its pleasures. Huzzah.
